As it is coming up on the end of another year we are receiving a lot of calls from companies that need to clean up their QuickBooks company file. Often time this is where the Transaction Pro Deleter for QuickBooks (“TPD”) can be of great assistance. Using the Transaction Pro Deleter you can select the transaction type or list and either a date range or a reference number range to delete.
In the example below we are going to select all invoices for 2016 and then select the button retrieve transactions.
The transactions that you will be deleting will appear in the grid within the product and if these are the transactions that you want to delete just select the Delete Txns button.
You also have the ability to filter the transactions so that you can remove those transactions that you do not want to delete. You can easily do this by clicking on any of the headers in the grid. In this example below we have decided that we do not want to delete any transactions for Bauman, Mark. So we clicked on the word Customer and then with our cursor highlighted all the transactions for Bauman, Mark. Then select the button at the bottom delete rows and these transactions will be removed from the grid and therefore will not be deleted.
Just like the Transaction Pro Importer and Exporter 5.0 products the licensing is all internet based making it very easy for the user to use the software on another machine with no need to contact Baystate Consulting. You can read more here.
You can find out more and also request a free trial here. You can either test this product with any of the sample QuickBooks company file or alternatively you can test this with your own QuickBooks company file and you will see all the transactions displayed in the grid but you will only be able to delete five rows at a time.
